Tawyhouse: Kemetic Orthodoxy Temple and Retreat Center Tawyhouse

Outdoor Shrine to Bast
Opened June 15, 2003!

Our third outdoor shrine on the Tawy House grounds is a shrine to Bast. At Bast's request, Her shrine is located at the rear of Tawy House, in the middle of the green yard, within a shaded grassy oasis and including a fountain and quiet meditation space.

Last year's first permanent Kemetic Orthodox shrine, to Yinepu (Anubis) was dedicated just northeast of the location of Bast's shrine. A second, portable outdoor shrine for the Netjeri or land spirits was dedicated during last year's Netjeri workshop.

We give great thanks to those who made this shrine happen!
